Pair sought in credit-card fraud case

The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon need your help in identifying two suspects in a recent credit-card fraud case.

In late July, a Central Point resident had her purse stolen from her locked pickup. Before the credit cards could be canceled, unknown subjects used them at several Grants Pass businesses. The four businesses reported a total loss of more than $1,000.

Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance of two subjects who used the credit cards. The female was described as a white female adult in her mid-30s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 to 160 pounds. She has brown hair with light streaks and was last seen wearing jeans, a black short-sleeved T-shirt with a pink "Playboy" logo on the front.

The male suspect was described as a white male adult in his mid-30s, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 250 pounds. He has brown hair and was last seen wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt and white tennis shoes.

If you can identify one or both of these suspects, or have any information regarding this fraud case, please contact your local police department or Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 800-3-DETECT (800-333-8328) and refer to case No. MT-343

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in these cases or any unsolved criminal activity. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Sonitrol of Eugene.
